RoboCup 2010
Posted on Wednesday, June 30 @ 16:48:19 BST
Topic: Information about RobocupJunior UK
290 RoboCupJunior teams from 27 countries participated in RoboCup 2010 in Singapore last week (a total of about 1050 children and 400 accompanying adults - the biggest RCJ event ever!).

Seven teams represented the UK - four in Soccer, two in Rescue and one in Dance. Unfortunately, none of them brought home any trophies this year.

Four young women from Prenton High School for Girls in Birkenhead were interviewed for The Gadget Show. Look out for them on one of the episodes in August.

Several animations and video clips from RoboCup 2010 have been posted on YouTube. Start with the Opening Ceremony Video and then view some the linked clips.

Ashley Green was RCJ Co-Chair and Kate Sim was Rescue OC Chair for RoboCup 2010. Ashley will be RCJ General Chair and Nicky Hughes will be Dance OC Chair for RoboCup 2011 in Istanbul, Turkey.
