RoboCupJunior UK 2005

Following the successes of the RoboCupJunior UK team at RoboCup 2004 in Lisbon last month, we are now deciding venues and dates for next year's RCJ tournaments. The Milton Keynes regional tournament will be held at Bletchley Park on either Saturday 5th or Saturday 12th February. The RCJ UK Finals will be held at Cranfield University, on a weekday during the week commencing 23rd February. Following the excellent national publicity for RoboCupJunior UK this year, we're expecting that many more teams from across the UK will participate in next year's tournaments - hence the need to move the UK Finals to a larger venue. The finalists will be eligible to represent the UK at RoboCup 2005 in Osaka, Japan in mid July.
The rules for next year's regional tournaments and UK Finals will be the same as for this year (see http://rcj.open.ac.uk/ or www.robocupjunior.org). Please contact a.a.green@open.ac.uk if you'd like to participate in RoboCupJunior UK 2005.
